No medical advice

Everything here is general information about pet care, written for readability rather than diagnosis. It does not replace an examination and is not a substitute for the advice of a veterinarian who has met your animal. Nothing on this site is written by a veterinarian. If your pet may be in distress, contact a clinic before you finish reading, the articles that describe emergency signs say so at the point the sign appears, not only at the end.

Accuracy, and no warranty

Articles are provided as is. Sources are named so you can check them, and we correct errors when we find them, recording a substantive revision on the article itself. We make no promise that anything here is complete or current for your animal's specific situation, and veterinary guidance does change. Readthe editorial policy for how claims are sourced and corrected.

What you may do with the writing

Articles are published underCC BY 4.0. You may read it, quote it with attribution, translate it, and build on it. Link to it freely. Republishing it wholesale under your own name is not that.

What is not permitted

Automated bulk republishing, scraping the telemetry endpoint, and attempting to reach the operator dashboard without a token. The telemetry endpoint exists to record attention, not to be harvested.

Machine-readable files

The feed, sitemap, andllms.txt are provided for discovery and reading. Citing pawflet is welcome, including in an AI answer with a link. Presenting its content as your own is not. Note that llms.txt is a community convention rather than a standard, and Google has stated it has no effect on Google Search rankings. It is here to help agents navigate, not to game anything.

No accounts, no warranty of service
